Iran and Russia is discussing the method of Bushehr nuclear power plant be taken over totally to local experts.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran's Deputy Director for International Affairs Behrouz Kamalvandi said that during the deputy head of Rosatom, Iran and Russian delegation discussed the issue, ISNA reported Apr.23.
A Russian nuclear delegation, headed by the deputy head of Russia's Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, Nicolai Spassky arrived in Iran Wednesday.
Kamalvandi added that Iran and Russia also discussing the construction of second and third nuclear reactors at Bushehr power plant.
He also said that Spassky will meet Iran's uranium conversion facility in Isfahan city tomorrow.
Russian Company Rosatom, the builder of Iran's only nuclear power plants, and Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization signed a treaty in 2014 to build the second and third units of the Bushehr Power Plant.
